Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 15, 2026 · Application: GreenTrip · Privacy controller and contact: greentrip.app.help@gmail.com · Official website: greentripapp.com

Summary: GreenTrip processes visible offers locally while the reader is active. It does not store screenshots or send full screen content to servers to interpret offers. History and settings are stored locally. Google services may process technical, analytics, advertising, and purchase data as explained below.

1. Controller, scope, and no account system

This policy describes data processing by GreenTrip, the Android application published under the GreenTrip name, and its official website. Privacy inquiries may be sent to greentrip.app.help@gmail.com.

GreenTrip is an independent tool for drivers and couriers. The current version does not provide its own registration, login, or user account system.

2. Information processed locally on the device

Offer reading

When the user voluntarily activates the reader, GreenTrip uses Android screen capture (MediaProjection) to read visible offer information through OCR. Text recognition is processed on the device using Google ML Kit Text Recognition.

Visible information may include payout, time, distance, currency, addresses, zones, service type, or other elements shown by a platform. It is used temporarily to calculate references and display the overlay.

GreenTrip does not store screenshots used by the reader, does not retain complete OCR text, and does not send that content to external servers to interpret the offer. Temporary content is discarded after the processing required for the calculation.

History and settings

When the user chooses to save an offer, ride, delivery, or quote, GreenTrip stores a local summary that may include date, record source, payout, minutes, kilometers or miles, currency, and additional values entered by the user.

Settings such as country, currency, language, unit, enabled apps, profitability criteria, pickup limits, remote-trip parameters, overlay settings, calculator, and quote tool are also stored locally.

3. Information that may be transmitted or collected

GreenTrip and integrated SDKs may process the following categories depending on features used, region, and device settings:

  • App activity and configuration: pseudonymous events related to reader start and duration, analyzed offers, displayed results, registered trips, country, currency, language, unit, enabled platforms, criteria mode, and configured values.
  • Technical and performance information: app version, device model, Android version, technical state, error logs, crash traces, and diagnostics.
  • Device or installation identifiers: Firebase, Crashlytics, and, where applicable, advertising identifiers.
  • Advertising data: impressions, clicks, rewarded ads, advertising consent, anti-fraud data, and information required to serve or measure ads.
  • Purchase information: product, subscription status, and transaction confirmation or identifier managed by Google Play. GreenTrip does not receive or store full payment card numbers.
  • Support information: email address, message, error type, basic technical context, and any screenshot the user voluntarily chooses to attach.
  • Approximate location: GreenTrip does not request GPS. Some providers may infer a country or approximate area from IP address or network information for security, analytics, compliance, or advertising.

Analytics events are not designed to include screenshots, complete OCR text, visible addresses, names, GPS routes, or private messages read from other applications.

4. Purposes

  • Provide the reader, calculations, history, quote tool, and settings.
  • Provide free access through rewarded ads and manage Pro features.
  • Process purchases and verify subscriptions through Google Play.
  • Measure aggregate use, improve country compatibility, and detect failures.
  • Respond to support reports and prevent abuse, fraud, or security issues.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and platform policies.

Where required, processing may rely on consent; in other cases, on providing the requested service, legitimate interests in security and improvement, or legal obligations. Users may withdraw permissions and, where applicable, update advertising privacy choices.

5. Android permissions

  • Screen capture / MediaProjection: read visible offers only while the reader is active.
  • Display over other apps: show the GreenTrip overlay.
  • Foreground service and notifications: keep the reader active and display its status.
  • Internet and network state: ads, purchases, analytics, diagnostics, and support.
  • Advertising ID: used by Google Mobile Ads when applicable and according to available privacy choices.

Users may deny or revoke permissions through Android. Features that require those permissions may stop working.

6. Providers and data disclosure

GreenTrip uses Google services that act as technology providers and may process data under their own terms and policies:

  • Google ML Kit Text Recognition: on-device text recognition.
  • Firebase Analytics: app activity and aggregate usage measurement.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: crash and error diagnostics.
  • Google Mobile Ads / AdMob: ads, rewarded ads, measurement, and fraud prevention.
  • Google Play Billing: purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellation, and payment status.

See Firebase Privacy and Security, Google's Privacy Policy, and the Google Play terms available through the store.

GreenTrip does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when necessary to operate with the providers above, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a legitimate service reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Advertising, consent, and regional choices

The free version may display ads, including rewarded ads that users choose to watch. Depending on region, declared age, settings, and consent, Google may serve personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads.

Where required, the app should present consent or privacy choices for identifiers, local storage, and advertising data. Choices may be managed through Google's privacy message when shown or through an in-app privacy section where available.

8. Retention and deletion

  • Temporary screenshots and OCR text: discarded after processing and not retained to interpret offers.
  • Local history and settings: retained until the user deletes them, clears app data, or uninstalls, subject to normal Android backup behavior.
  • Support reports: retained for the time reasonably necessary to respond, diagnose, and keep a record of the resolution, then deleted or anonymized where feasible.
  • Crashlytics: Google states that crash stack traces and associated identifiers are retained for 90 days before deletion begins.
  • Analytics, ads, and purchases: retained according to GreenTrip's settings and applicable Google, Firebase, and Google Play policies.

To request deletion of information sent directly to support, email greentrip.app.help@gmail.com. Because GreenTrip has no accounts, some pseudonymous SDK data may not be reliably linkable to a particular person.

9. Security and international transfers

GreenTrip uses reasonable measures such as data minimization, local OCR processing, and encrypted connections provided by SDKs for transmitted data. Local information also depends on device security, Android, screen lock, and user backup settings.

No system is completely secure. Global providers may process information in countries other than the user's country under applicable legal and contractual mechanisms.

10. User control and privacy rights

Users may stop the reader, revoke permissions, delete trips, clear local data, uninstall the app, cancel subscriptions through Google Play, and update advertising choices where available.

Depending on jurisdiction, users may also have rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, or consent withdrawal. Contact the privacy address to exercise those rights. Reasonable information may be requested to verify and locate a request.

11. Children

GreenTrip is not directed to children. It is intended for people legally eligible to perform driving or delivery services in their jurisdiction. GreenTrip does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Website

The official website currently uses no first-party cookies, local storage, forms, analytics, or advertising. The hosting provider may process technical logs such as IP address, date, user agent, and requests to deliver and protect the site. Links to Google Play, Instagram, and TikTok lead to services with their own policies.

13. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when features, SDKs, permissions, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date appears at the top. Material changes may be communicated in the app where appropriate.
